Powder & her daddy, Berrin, on her Basic
Obedience certification day

Born on 9/30/2006 from AAKS’s first litter, Powder truly is an angel in a fur coat. From the moment she arrived, we knew this little white pup was a sign from above as to the future.

At a very young age, Powder took a Best Jr Puppy Group in Chicago at the 2007 Windy City Classic and Best in Breed and a Best in Junior Puppy Group at the 2007 Motor City Classic.

We are proud that — although the whites are now a disqualified color with in the KSD show ring — Powder still went on to earn American, Canadian, and International Championship titles.

So what does this say? It says the her excellent conformation and flowing gait still beat out many other King Shepherds to earn her place even with her disqualified coat color! And she has beat out many other International Titled dogs. Her sire, Berrin is also a International Titled Champion as is his sire Bustah Bruin, one of the original foundation dogs of the King Shepherd breed.

Powder has earned her CGC, one of the requirements to obtain the Grand Championship Title, and she is not too many points off from this great achievement. She is also certified in obedience and working on therapy dog certification.

Powder is a clown and makes us smile continually. Her first litter was whelped March 2009. A good example of her pups is Bono (now living in Germany) who at 8 months of age was 102 pounds and is just magnificent!
