Babe (Duke’s sister) doing great!: Rejni, Babe’s new guardian, has given her a wonderful loving home down in Indiana. (Both Babe and Duke were emaciated when they arrived at AAKS. Photos of Duke and Babe as they appeared then can seen here.) Her new owners write:

08/06: Hi...Babe and I are doing great. Obedience school is going well and we are bonding. I went ahead and attached some pictures. Hope you enjoy them.

04/07: Babe and I are doing very well. She is a wonderful companion and we have grown to love each other very much. Her personality is wonderfully matched with mine although she is getting a bit guard doggish with me when it comes to company coming over. However I also know she’s got my back.... It’s great to know that I’m mom and she knows that too and loves it. Babe and I will be moving from Indiana to California...my home town... in June.

02/06/08: Babe is doing fantastic, and it is so funny that you mentioned Duke is getting grey because Babe is as well. I just like to say she is frosted... She is loving California and we are in a bigger house with a nice yard as well so she is in love. I also got engaged in August so Babe has been getting used to my fiance . . . They have become amazing friends and she loves to snuggle with him. Dave absolutely loves her and Babe has convinced him that Great Danes in are the best dogs ever. ~ Rejni Chopra
